Securing Corporate Sponsors Workshop

Next NAMP Workshop:
Secure and Keep Your Corporate Sponsor
Tuesday, September 9 2008
9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities,
938 Lafayette St in New Orleans.

Featuring Alice Zimet, founder of Arts & Business Partners.

This workshop will illustrate how to build meaningful bridges between a nonprofit and a sponsor’s sales and marketing needs. Today, corporations and nonprofits must be smarter in how they give and receive limited sponsorship marketing dollars. Visibility is no longer enough, and smart companies and savvy nonprofits can use sponsorship to meet a business need to deliver measurable results. Attendees will learn to think strategically and use hands-on techniques to secure and keep corporate sponsors.

Here are some comments from attendees of previous National Arts Marketing Project Workshops:

  • A wealth of great info packed into a day.
  • SOOOO USEFUL.
  • Probably the most efficient use of my time in a long time. Awesome!
  • The presenter was excellent. She got me really thinking.

Presented by Alice Zimet, founder of Arts & Business Partners, and a 25 year veteran and primary architect of how how arts groups and corporations work together to deliver benefits to both partners.

Fee: $30 for current Arts Council members, $35 for all others. Includes light breakfast and catered lunch.
Please RSVP to 504-523-1465 or via email

This project is supported in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts, which believes that a great nation deserves great art. Additional funding provided by The RosaMary Foundation.
